Wednesday, October 9, 2013

Roseburg Forest Products announced today that it will be making capital expenditures at the Dillard, OR sawmill that will allow it to utilize a broader range of fiber in its manufacturing process. In making the announcement, Grady Mulbery, vice president of operations for the company said, “We see this as an opportunity to strengthen our commitment to adding value to the raw material source in our area.”

In addition to the small-log processor, the project will also include an upgrade to the log merchandising systems. The planning for the project is underway.
