Saturday marks the opening day of deer season in Western Oregon. Most of our lands are under an IFPL 2 and are currently closed to all public access. Limited Non-Motorized access is permitted on lands under an IFPL 1. Western Oregon fire danger raised to EXTREME on Friday

Fire danger will be raised to EXTREME on Friday. A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for the Willamette Valley and surrounding forestlands. Fire Precaution Level 3 restrictions will be in place for most of our Oregon timberlands with Level 2 restrictions in place along the coastal strip starting August 15th. The weather forecast is for near record heat combined with winds and low relative humidities. Fires will start easier, spread faster and be more difficult to extinguish under these conditions.
