Modern modular design made easy with the Roseburg Framing System®

Method Homes is a custom manufacturer of “precision-engineered, prefabricated structures” based in Seattle, Wash., who recently used the Roseburg Framing System® in a new residential build in Ketchum, Idaho.

Consisting of RFPI® Joist, RigidLam® LVL and RigidRim® Rimboard, the Roseburg Framing System helped the design team achieve their goals and, ultimately, satisfy the customer of this custom ultra-modern modular construction.

Challenge: When you hear the words “modular home,” an open floor plan might not immediately come to mind – but this home features wide open spaces and sweeping views of the surrounding mountainside. This isn’t LEGO; this is a high-end build that evokes modernity and sophistication.

Solution: The Method Homes design team opted specifically for the Roseburg Framing System® because of their need to build large open living spaces while maintaining a clean design. The use of engineered wood framing also helped to enable Method’s innovative construction process, whereby the individual components of the home were constructed at their facility in northern Washington before being transported to their final home in Idaho.

Results: As you can see from the photos, the final product is nothing short of stunning. Simple but beautiful natural tones fill the home, with a particular emphasis on highlighting the beauty of wood.

The homeowners are extremely satisfied with the final product, and have settled comfortably into their new home.
