Jerry Risk Named Sustainability Manager for Roseburg
In a key leadership move, Jerry Risk has been promoted to Sustainability Manager and has joined the company’s Corporate Strategy and External Affairs team.
Jerry joined the company in June 2018 as forester, a role he held for more than five years before his promotion to Contract Logging Supervisor in July 2023. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources from Oregon State University.
This role will put Jerry in charge of overseeing Roseburg’s initiatives related to sustainability, green building, carbon data, and more. As a proud leader in sustainable wood products manufacturing, Roseburg now bolsters its already strong sustainability team and ensures that it can continue to provide high-quality, sustainably wood products that meet or exceed current guidance, and that go into the homes and buildings we use every day.
Jerry is excited for this new opportunity to share his experience and promote sustainability within Roseburg and the industry. “My previous roles have provided me with a working knowledge of our timberlands and Resources business, and now I can use this knowledge to maintain and strengthen Roseburg’s already robust sustainability practices,” he said.
