Roseburg team members pledge more than $1 million for local causes in 2023

Large, white numbers reading $1,148,217 are photoshopped to look like they're nestled in the canopy of treesOn this Giving Tuesday for 2022, Roseburg is honored to announce that our annual giving campaign with United Way recently concluded, and company-wide, our team members have pledged more than $1.1 million to local causes, from cancer and diabetes research, children’s enrichment, veterans’ care, pets in search of loving families, and so much more. This number represents a 7.8% increase over last year, and includes a company match from Roseburg.

Throughout 2022, the need for this kind of community support has been clear. Roseburg is impressed and honored by the generosity of our people, whose commitment to supporting our communities is admirable.

Greater Douglas United Way
The Greater Douglas chapter of United Way is dedicated to making Douglas County, Oregon, a better place to live, work, and play. The organization supports a wide range of local and regional non-profits that support their mission. Roseburg partners with United Way in many of our communities to support the important work of their member agencies.

St. Jude Children’s Research
St. Jude is a national leader in the research and treatment of children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

Community Cancer Center
The local non-profit cancer treatment center in Roseburg, Oregon, provides support and coping mechanisms for people who have had cancer, currently have cancer, or know someone with cancer.

American Cancer Society
This national organization of volunteers is focused on eradicating cancer through research, information, patient support, and prevention.

Wounded Warrior Project
This organization provides a wide range of programs and services for wounded service members, including career counseling, advocacy efforts, and long-term rehabilitative care.

Special Olympics of Louisiana
The Special Olympics of Louisiana supports athletes with intellectual disabilities through sports, competition education, leadership, and health opportunities.

 

Roseburg aims to be part of the communities in which we work and play, and as such, the company supports a wide range of organizations in addition to this yearly team member giving campaign.
