Roanoke Valley Lumber processes its first logs

Construction continues at a rapid pace at the site of Roseburg’s newest facility, Roanoke Valley Lumber (RVL), in Weldon, NC. This state-of-the-art lumber mill is poised to produce high-quality lumber for eastern North America from Roseburg’s own forests in Virginia and North Carolina.

Most recently, the first truckloads of logs made their way to the RVL facility for processing, as seen in the photos below. The team is hard at work testing and refining to prepare for full-scale lumber production, and we expect that they’ll be up and running in the first quarter of 2024.
