About Us

Our Purpose

Making Lives Better
From the Ground Up

We are a closely held forest products company, building value with timberland, safe and efficient manufacturing, and passionate, capable people.

We own and sustainably manage more than 600,000 acres of timberland in Oregon, Virginia and North Carolina. The annual harvest from our timber base ensures the quality and continuity of wood fiber supply to our diverse manufacturing facilities across North America.

We market our quality wood products through a variety of channels, including: Wholesale and Industrial Distributors, National Home Centers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Dealers (Pro Yards), Buying Groups and Custom Laminators and Panelizers.

Our Legacy

What Drives Us

Founded in 1936 in Roseburg, Oregon — “The Timber Capital of the World” — by forest products pioneer Kenneth Ford, passion for wood is our spirit and our legacy.

It’s also Roseburg’s present and our future, where 15,000 acres of sustainably managed timberland in 1946 has turned into 600,000 today and where we continue to imagine and reimagine how trees and responsibly manufactured forest products can make lives better from the ground up – for our customers, our team members and the communities we all call home.
