Message From the CEO

President of Roseburg, Allyn Ford

Welcome to

I would like to personally thank you for visiting our website. Hopefully, as you navigate the site, you will find a wealth of information on the products we produce, the services we offer, and the company’s rich heritage and position as a significant player in the North American forest products industry.

We recently celebrated our 75th anniversary as a company.  During the past eight decades, as the world has seen incredible change in the way people do business and companies produce products, two things at Roseburg have remained constant.

First, we are committed to being good stewards of our environment. As a company we own and manage over 650,000 acres of timberlands in southern Oregon and northern California. This timber base serves as a solid foundation for our company, ensuring the ready availability of one of the world’s most unique, versatile, and sustainable building products: wood. As we manage our forests and harvest the wood used in producing essential products for today’s society, we gratefully acknowledge the dedication and efforts of those who planted and nurtured those trees generations ago. And like those people of yesteryear, we replant and nurture over five million trees each year to ensure an adequate supply of this valuable resource for generations to come.

Second, we manufacture and sell quality wood products that will help to meet the needs of today’s architects, designers and builders. We operate 12 manufacturing plants across the United States and produce a variety of products in four major business areas: composite panels, plywood, engineered wood, and lumber.

With a healthy, well-managed resource base, coupled with modern state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, we are uniquely positioned to meet the emerging needs of a diverse customer base. Our people, many of whom are second and third generation wood products employees, are committed to producing and delivering a wide range of unique products that come from one of the world’s most sustainable products: wood.

Thanks again for visiting our site.

Allyn Ford
